- _Drive sample eskies around the bottle prep site in our golf cart one moment, move sample stock using the walkie stacker, pack custom order sample kits for clients and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing our sample kit orders loaded on courier trucks out to our clients each day. In return you can expand and diversify your skill set through experience in client order logistics ensuring orders can reach clients within set time periods, learning scientific sample prep terminology and testing equipment requirements and taking initiative to set up our storage facility on site as a value-add project with the team. **The Role**
Located in Stafford Brisbane, with ample on street parking - our ALS Environmental Division is seeking a
**_Casual (rostered up to 5 days a week 7:45am-4pm)_**:

- _opportunity. Our Bottle Preparation Attendant role can only be described as dynamic, as David will share below - supporting the preparation, despatch and storage of client sample kits used for the collection of environmental samples.

**The day to day**
A standard day gives me and the team great variety between:

- Esky collections - Driving our golf buggy to the sample receipt building to pick up returned sample eskies for reuse
- Sample equipment recycling - setting returned eskies on the custom-built pressure cleaner
- Stock and storage - Stock auditing of sample kit supplies and progression of our new sample storage service (a project the team will work on together)
- Hands on tasks - including packing and dispatch of sample kit orders

The location is great with ample on street parking, and our workspace a large open plan warehouse/office mix building opening to the outdoor esky storage, pressure clean and sample pick up areas. I love to start the day early missing traffic, work with great people and be home at a reasonable hour.

**The essentials**
In order to be successful, you will:

- Thrive working quickly, effectively, and accurately preparing container orders / containers
- Enjoy the mix of working autonomously, with peer support and connection as needed and with flexibility when performing key tasks to maximise output to the varied priorities of the day
- Be organised with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks
- Enjoy the mix of variety and repetitive tasks, such as eskie pressure cleaning bulk order preparation and sample storage organisation
- Be a clear communicator, to aid the team in best supporting each other
- Reliable and a professional ALS brand ambassador to our clients and courier partners
- Be confident in basic computer skills (Microsoft outlook, excel, word)
- Ideally hold a current forklift licence and have previous forklift experience (desired but not essential)

This position requires a strong drive to go the extra mile, excellent organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Your ability to learn on the job and remain motivated whilst working without constant supervision in a fast paced, high-throughput environment will ensure your success in this role.
