About the role
Reporting to the National Clinical Lead - Assessment Operations and Education Governance, the State Censor is a member of the Council of Censors and collaborates closely with the training teams.
**As our State Censor for QLD, you'll**:
Chair and participate in panels addressing academic misconduct, appeals, and policy variations, ensuring adherence to training standards.
Represent the Council of Censors at State Faculty activities, acting as a spokesperson on assessment-related issues and contributing to quality assurance in RACGP assessments.
Skills & Experience
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and current unrestricted specialist medical registration as a general practitioner with AHPRA
Extensive experience in RACGP assessments, training program delivery, and a strong understanding of the educational needs of GPs.
Proven ability in high-level policy development and quality assurance in education, showcasing analytical and interpretative skills.
Excellent communication and relationship management abilities, with a track record of engaging with senior management and councils effectively.
