Ecommerce User Experience Specialist

You are passionate about people, business and driving better performance to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer journey. You understand life at home and home furnishing trends to ensure our online visitors have the best user experience when browsing and shopping the IKEA range across different digital touchpoints. You are driven to maximise online user experience performance by identifying new opportunities, analysing customer behaviour, and monitoring market trends. You possess a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders by providing data driven insights and optimisation techniques to deliver great content for IKEA’s online platform. For this role, you will have experience in ecommerce, data driven analysis, CRO testing, Google Analytics and PowerBI dashboards. You will also have a strong understanding of visual and digital communication to drive customer engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
As an Ecommerce User Experience Specialist, you are responsible for attracting and converting consumers to customers by supporting visitors to the online channels and offering the best online customer journey. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and optimize the layout of pages and across different digital media, to show the width and depth of the IKEA range to support the seasonality and commercial priorities while simplifying the buying process.
- Contribute to conversion optimisation testing roadmap, sharing results and recommendations with Sales Leaders, e.g., add-on sales and cross-selling.
- Contribute to the customer experience/journey through working closely with Range Specialists, Content Editors, and the HFRD (Home Furnishing & Retail Design) function.
- Contribute insight and optimisation ideas to the briefing of the content process supporting the digital customer experience.
- Continuously monitor the market and competitors, identifying new range presentation techniques and features in order to translate them into commercially viable implementations.
- Contribute knowledge of IKEA range and market relevancy to the content process supporting the digital customer experience.
- Measure and follow up the performance of the user experience by analysing customer behaviour.
- Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within the Commercial team and beyond to secure ecommerce integration, common focus and maximize impact (for example HFRD, Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability,
BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture).
