**About the opportunity**

If you’re looking to take the next step in your payroll career, this might be the role for you This Payroll Manager position will lead a small team focusing on the timely and accurate delivery of the payroll process. CGLRS is a growing, fast-paced, dynamic business and this role would suit an innovative individual with an appetite for change who is looking to bring their ideas to the table.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Leading, coaching and mentoring a small payroll team of three, providing guidance on all processes and a point of payroll escalation
- Managing and oversight of fortnightly payroll for approximately 800+ employees and monthly payroll of approximately 300+ employees
- Processing starters, leavers, and adjustments
- Completing all payroll related calculations e.g. leave balances, superannuation, PAYG, etc
- Participate in month end, End of year reporting, STP reporting, etc
- Responding to payroll related inquiries in a timely manner
- Lead and participate in all payroll related projects including process improvement and system upgrades

**Key Requirements**
- End to end payroll processing experience
- Ability to pick up new payroll and systems quickly
- Great attitude and keenness to grow
- Excellent time management skills and accuracy
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work professionally with internal and external stakeholders
