Steel Creations is seeking an experienced Steel Detailer for production of 3D models and shop drawings for high end architectural metalwork and structural steel projects.

The role will include the following...
- Reading and interpreting architectural and engineering docmentation for production of fabrication drawings.
- Produce shop drawings for structural steel, staircases, balustrades, gates and fencing etc.
- Liasing with Builders, Architects and Engineers during all phases of production.
- Collaborating with others in our team including fabricators to achieve optimum outcomes.
- Attend site meetings and perform site measure where required.
- Production of concept documentation and fabrications drawings.
- Create renderings of proposed works.
- Perform take-off from documentation for cost analysis and tendering.

Key Requirements...
- Clear understanding of residential construction techniques including relevant codes and standards.
- Abilty to read plans and produce quality documentation.
- Experience in Autocad and Autodesk Advance Steel.
- Experience with Sketchup and Bluebeam would be beneficial.
- Good understanding of ferrous and non ferrous material sizes and specifications.
- Keen interest in Architecture and Design beneficial.
- Must be Australian resident and able to commute to our premises in Campbellfield.

Pay rate to be negotiated based on individual applicants experience and qualifiactions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Campbellfield VIC 3061: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Detailing: 3 years (preferred)
