Key activities may include:

- Overhaul, repair and test all products in accordance with the relevant drawings, task instructions, HSE requirements, Quality requirements, and test specifications/procedures;
- Record all outcomes and sign/date all appropriate task and test specific documentation, during and at the completion of testing of finished assemblies/products;
- Identify all products tested to indicate tested status, i.e. Batch No. and Serial Number stamped on body or product, after passing all tests;
- Ensure that all customer goods, inventory stock, tooling and equipment are identified appropriately, and any expiration and/or service dates are compliant; initiating escalation where necessary;
- Ensure the working environment is maintained in a clean and safe condition at all times.

The essential experience required for this position is:

- Overhaul, repair and testing of mechanical components using all types of hand, electric and pneumatic tools; and
- High level of pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge.

The desirable experience required for this position is:

- High level of Faiveley Transport product range knowledge with respect to overhaul, repairing and testing of our components/products; and
- Previous Rollingstock maintenance experience, particularly locomotive, passenger and freight pneumatic and electro pneumatic braking systems.
