**The Role**:
The Associate - Commercial Real Estate (CRE) - Deal Structuring and Execution (DS&E) role is responsible for supporting Business Banking Managers with the CRE Specialist teams with deal structuring and execution including credit analysis and writing, ongoing portfolio management and monitoring and delivering exceptional customer service.

**In this Associate role, you will**:

- Create and prepare or assist in the creation and preparation of lending submissions including obtaining and collation of information from customers.
- Complete financial modelling tasks and interpretation of financial and property transaction information for both property investment and development lending transactions.
- Drive ongoing performance and compliance of lending portfolios.
- Develop strong customer relationship skills and customer focus to deliver "Worlds Best Business Bank" outcomes for B & PB's largest CRE customers and ensure consistent customer advocacy.
- Contribute to the quality, consistency and continuous improvement practices/activities in the DS & E team with emphasis on the quality of credit submissions and management of business risks.
- Deliver a superior customer experience by managing the end to end lending process, maintaining accountability and engaging the necessary internal and external stakeholders.
- Build an ongoing awareness and understanding of market risk and industry knowledge.
- Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date.

**What you will bring**:

- Currently have or be working towards a business or property related tertiary qualification.
- Experience in business banking, ideally supporting customers within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry.
- A reasonable understanding of business/commercial and property industry practices, business lending products and services.
- Previous experience in structuring CRE transactions and property analytical skills would be highly regarded
