About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and passionate Barista to join our friendly team in a fast-paced café setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys crafting high-quality coffee, and takes pride in providing great customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, take orders, and manage payments

Prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks (e.g., flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, long blacks)

Prepare and serve other beverages, including teas, hot chocolates, and cold drinks

Perform basic food prep (no cooking) like sandwiches, toasts etc. and maintain food safety standards

Demonstrate knowledge of different coffee beans and roasts and communicate this to customers

Use and maintain the coffee grinder and espresso machine, adjusting as needed

Clean and maintain coffee equipment throughout the day and at close

Restock fridges and display shelves with baked goods, snacks, and bottled drinks

Perform basic food prep (no cooking) and maintain food safety standards

**Requirements**:
Minimum 2 years' barista experience in a busy café environment (required)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work efficiently and independently during peak periods

Knowledge of grinder adjustment and milk texturing techniques

Food handling certificate (preferred but not mandatory)

Pay: $23.50 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Barista: 2 years (required)

- Australia (preferred)
