About the role

Ang's Cafe in Oaklands Park, SA is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cafe Barista to join our team. This is a casual position, providing you with the flexibility to work around your other commitments. As a Cafe Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and specialty beverages with consistently high quality
  2. Providing excellent customer service, ensuring each customer has a positive experience
  3. Maintaining a clean and organised work area, following all health and safety protocols
  4. Restocking and rotating supplies as needed
  5. Providing feedback and suggestions to management to help improve cafe operations

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality/cafe industry
  2. Minimum of 1+ years of barista experience is required for this position
  3. Passion for coffee and a keen eye for detail to ensure consistent quality
  4. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  5. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
  7. Relevant food handling and barista qualifications would be highly regarded
  8. Australian work rights are required for this position
