The Role
We are currently looking for a Project Systems Specialist to provide configuration, development, and support for Aurecon’s design content engines. These currently include ProjectWise, BIM360, 12d Synergy and Aconex. The role will be responsible for providing advice and assistance on user accounts, security, environments, standards, and workspaces.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Participation in system maintenance activities including system upgrades, system and performance monitoring, and software version testing.
- Provide detailed technical guidance to Aurecon projects and users to facilitate engineering and design work sharing that meet Aurecon current and projected business requirements. Technical guidance to include CADD management procedures, CADD workspace development, plotting and publishing, workflow and environment development.
- Identify technical requirements for projects and end users; research and develop technical recommendations that address these requirements, including testing and implementing recommended solutions.
- Develop and deliver (as needed) training material for advanced users and new users.
- Investigate and develop ways to improve productivity and efficiencies through automation across all content engines.
- Act as liaison between vendors and end users when dealing with issues, questions or problems that require direct support from the vendor.
What we are looking for
- Ideally extensive knowledge of the 12D Synergy document management system and experience working in and supporting an engineering collaboration environment.
- Awareness and developing knowledge of ProjectWise, BIM360, 12d Synergy and Aconex.
- Strong knowledge of workstation and server operating systems (Windows server) and server management including a strong understanding of networks (WAN, LAN, etc)
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to present technical data in a logical concise manner.
