Currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our new Preston store.

**Store Location**:Northern Suburbs - Victoria

**Role Type**: Permanent Full Time (38 hours per week - Tuesday to Saturday roster)

**Departments**:All

We're looking for an enthusiastic, sports loving person who is excited about a career in the retail industry. If you are comfortable working with and leading a team, providing a positive role model for other staff and meeting sales targets then this role may be for you

Our only mandatory requirement is that you have an avid interest in and love sport, The position available is great stepping stone into store management and will help you expand your career in retail and the sporting goods market.

Here are some of the qualities we are looking for:

- A passion for sport & fitness especially community and grass roots sport
- Outgoing personality and passion for assisting customers in their sporting needs,
- Strong belief in teamwork and team development
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisation skills
- Consumer retail experience (2-3 years)
- Leadership & staff/team management experience
- Experience in dealing with high stock volumes in a retail environment
- Merchandising & visual presentation in detail
