**Position Descriptor**:
This position is a JP position teaching receptions and year one students. Initially the class will be below 20 but will include mid year reception enrolments half way through 2025. The JP teacher will need to be familiar with the DfE scope and sequence for phonics and be willing to incorporate Salisbury Park Primary School's literacy and numeracy agreement. Literacy and numeracy are our curriculum priorities and involve the development and implementation of a range of learning strategies that support learner's needs and backgrounds. Strong collaborative structures exist to support staff development in teaching/learning programs and individuals' professional learning. A commitment to developing strong school/community partnerships exists. The teacher will need to be willing to also work with our leaders to ensure all students are given the best chance to have success. The teacher that is successful in winning the position will be required to be highly skilled in trauma informed practises and be able to work with leaders, support staff and parents to ensure individual learning plans are quickly implemented to enable success for all students in this class. High level of behaviour management skills is desirable.- Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.**Site**:
