We are seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Adviser on a full-time basis to join one of our government clients located in the Adelaide CBD. You will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and delivering a range of stakeholder engagement activities. In this role you will establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders to lead the development of effective stakeholder engagement strategies. You are someone with great interpersonal skills who can work with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives. You will be a self-starter and take responsibility for delivering successful outcomes.

**The Role**

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and deliver risk-based stakeholder engagement plans to support the planning and delivery of organisation's projects, particularly capital and business development
- Contribute to the development and delivery of engagement strategies for high risk projects
- Liaise with the community, including customers, contractors and other stakeholders, to ensure the sharing of information to support project planning and delivery and the enhancement of organisation's reputation
- Support organisation-wide communication regarding the stakeholder engagement program
- Ability to advise and offer stakeholder expertise to senior executives to assist with risk management and strategic decision making in the organization
- Experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder networks with strong, credible relationships

**Experience Required**
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Planning, Community Development
- A proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement or community engagement
- Excellent verbal and written communication with effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills to build strong working relationships and drive successful outcomes
- Hold a current driver's license at all times
- Current working with children clearance
- Knowledge of State and local government, Parliamentary process and requirements (Desirable)
