An exciting opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic **Laboratory Assistants** to join our **Shepparton Laboratory.**
There are currently 2 casual positions available in Specimen Reception at our Shepparton Lab. The successful applicant(s) will be required to work on the 24 hour roster, 7 days per week, as required.
Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the North East of Melbourne and state-wide. **About the role**:
**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include**:
- Laboratory experience ideal but not essential
- Ability to enter data accurately
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to respond to enquiries for information on laboratory procedures or results
- A strong work ethic
- Exceptional organisation and customer service skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and in a team environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to assist and support change
