**About Us**

The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 5 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 17 collection centres based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant Grade 1 to work in the Microbiology Unit at the Clayton site. The laboratory offers a 24 hour service and the successful applicant will be required to participate in the rotating roster inclusive of evening and weekend shifts.

**What you need to know**

The successful applicants will have a certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or recognised equivalent with possession of appropriate microbiology laboratory experience being desirable.
