**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced SMSF Assistant Manager or Manager to become an integral member of our SMSF team, which is a highly skilled group within our Business and Private Client Advisory Division. Your primary focus is to provide technical support to partners who have high net worth family group clients with SMSF and assist with the management of our offshore SMSF team.

**Key responsibilities**
- Provide SMSF and superannuation advisory services to high-net-worth family groups
- Assist in the management of our offshore SMSF team
- Review year end accounts and support the offshore team with any technical matters and issues with complex funds Assist all divisions with technical queries relating to superannuation and SMSF

- Develop strong internal relationships within our Business and Private Client Advisory division
- Identify and implement measures to help the team meet productivity targets
- Develop relationships with clients and identify opportunities to add value
- Liaise with external parties including external auditors, lawyers and actuaries when required

**Skills and experience**

Minimum 5 years
- SMSF experience in a Chartered/CPA accounting practice
- Degree qualified and fully qualified as a CA / CPA
- Extensive experience with Class super software system is essential
- Exceptional technical experience, reviewing and understanding superannuation laws and concepts
- Excellent time management skills, and accustomed to working to targets and tight deadlines
- Strong self-management, and motivation to succeed and grow
- Exposure to working with an offshore team
- Previous leadership experience
