We are looking for a passionate and engaging Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Deakin, ACT.

**The opportunity**:
Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives;
Coaching and support for families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, as well as supporting families and therapists with administrative tasks;
Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports;
Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review;
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What do you need to join?

Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families

No qualification is required, however experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience), is essential; and be

Working towards a relevant Allied Health qualification;
Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable;
Strong communication and organisational skills;
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work autonomously in the community;
Compliance - Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate and First Aid certificate.
