We are looking for two passionate and engaging **Allied Health Assistants** to join our team** **at Early Start Australia, Deakin, ACT.

We have 2 incredible clinics you can work across located in Deakin & Queanbeyan.

Early Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary allied health organisation committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services and supports to children and their families.

**The opportunity**:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives
- Coaching and support for families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, as well as supporting families and therapists with administrative tasks
- Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports
- Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review
**What do you need to join?**
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families
- No qualification is required, however experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience), is essential;
- Working towards a relevant Allied Health qualification;
- Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable;
- Strong communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work autonomously in the community;
- Compliance - Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate and First Aid certificate.
