The way we work continues to evolve and at Zurich we are committed to creating ways of working that ensure you are helping to create a brighter future.- As the Actuarial Analyst within our General Insurance Pricing & Analytics team, you will help to improve the underwriting profit and growth objectives of Zurich products. You will do this by assisting in the provision of pricing and underwriting advice, as well as providing management information on portfolio performance.- You will carry out detailed pricing investigations on our major products and produce and distribute detailed monitoring of the claims experience, to help identify more profitable segments of each portfolio. You will identify poor data quality and reconciliation issues and assist in the continuous improvement of our systems to improve the quality of data.**Please note this is a 12-month contract opportunity.**
- Important to your success - let’s grow together- Degree qualified in Actuarial Studies, or other related degree, with experience working in an actuarial role.
- High analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret information from different sources.
- Strong excel skills and familiarity with analytics software such as SAS, Radar, or R.
- You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and have the ability to build relationships with peers and stakeholders.
