**About the Role**:
The Scientific Officer, Biological Data provides professional expertise and advice in the establishment, maintenance and management of databases covering the State’s flora and fauna, including through the future BioData SA system. The position provides assistance to staff and external researchers in the capture, retrieval, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data. The position is responsible for ensuring the taxonomic integrity of biological records.

**Essential Qualifications**:
A tertiary qualification in environmental science, natural resource management, or relevant qualification is essential.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Occasional intra and interstate travel.

**Remuneration**:
PO2 $88,255 min - $97,667 max p.a.
