**Maintenance Team Leader**

Our Client a leader in the supply of Gas and Welding products are looking for experienced **Maintenance Team Leader** to join their team in Port Kembla, NSW.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Plan maintenance activity for all distribution equipment
- Completion of breakdown maintenance as required
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used, managed, and stored in an appropriate manner to prevent damage or degradation
- Collaboration with peers and third parties as needed to ensure quality outcomes
- Actively participate in improvement initiatives - to improve safety and quality
- Coordinate the movement of distribution assets
- Coordinate traffic change of distribution assets as needed

**About you**:

- A degree or diploma in a Mechanical or engineering trade is required
- A sound experience with operating mobile equipment including forklift
- Preferably 8 to 10 years' experience in a heavy industrial engineering environment is preferred
- Sound knowledge of gas monitors and analysers
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
- As the successful applicant you will ideally have previous Mechanical or Engineering in the Gas Industry. It will be your strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude that will see you excel in this role._

**Salary**: $46.00 - $47.00 per hour
