ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Security and Intelligence Manager, the Intelligence Support Officer undertakes an essential role within the broader team of eight at Port Phillip Prison. This on site role supports the essential daily activities with a strong focus and co-ordination of the urinalysis and drug testing for the facility, as well as assessing people's eligibility to enter the site alongside the professional clearances team.

**Duties will include, but aren't limited to**:

- Preparation of and co-ordination of urinalysis and drug testing requirements for the facility
- Data entry of urinalysis samples and processing of pathology reports into PIMS, including adherence with KPI's in relation to contractual requirement
- Intricate managing of samples: storage, transport, coordination and disposal
- Liaison with Corrections Victoria Urinalysis and reporting of specified drug statistics for Intelligence Unit and Senior Management
- Preparation of clearance checks for contractors/professionals wanting to enter PPP
- Co-ordination of incident files to be referred to police
- Any further ad-hoc admin duties as directed by Security and Intelligence Supervisors

ABOUT YOU
This position is an onsite role, Monday through to Friday. To be eligible to work on site at Port Phillip Prison, you must have received three doses of the Covid 19 vaccination.
This role will be well suited to individuals with strong attention to detail, and those who are highly organised in their workload. You will undertake your role with high confidentiality and importance to ensure the safety of the team and operations at Port Phillip Prison.

**You will also have**:

- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively and decisively
- Understanding or working knowledge of the Victorian Drug strategy and Identified Drug User Program (desirable) or be willing to learn as an essential part of the role
- A current Driver's Licence
- Ability to work autonomously and confidentially in a team environment
