**About the business and the role**

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

The Support Worker will:

- Provide high quality support that addresses participants needs.
- Support participants to develop their skills and independence in all facets of their stay at PCS.
- Treat participants and their families with dignity and respect.
- Work in conjunction with other staff to perform duties as directed.
- Provide personal care for those participants that require support
- Provide opportunities to our participants to be able to live their lives autonomously
- Provide support to young people who have complex needs and behaviours.

**Skills and experience Qualifications**
- Desirable Certificate III in Disability Services or equivalent.
- Previous employment experience in the disability/community services sector is highly desirable.

**Requirements**:

- Swim confidently
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- NSW NDIS Worker Screener
- 2 Covid-19 Vaccinations
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Valid NSW Driver's License

**Job Type**: Casual, evening and weekend work available

**Salary**: $30 to $50.00 /hour
