**About Us**

**Daimler Trucks Ballarat** is a substantial warehouse complex located in Ballarat’s logistic and manufacturing hub and retails the globally recognised products of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso. The dealership has a dedicated service, parts, and sales team to support our customers.

We are seeking Apprentice Technicians to join our supportive Service team on a full-time basis.

You will have the opportunity to receive ongoing manufacturer and in house training in addition to your formal training in a modern workshop with diagnostic equipment and tooling.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the servicing of machinery under warranty
- Assist with the diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and service
- Assist the Workshop Leading Hand and Diesel Mechanics as directed
- Assist service personnel to ensure machinery is serviced or repaired in a timely manner
- Ensure workshop is kept neat and tidy
- Ensure a safe working environment and report any safety incidents or concerns appropriately
- Motivated to learn
- Passionate about the automotive industry
- Have a can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Any experience working on vehicles would be beneficial
- Hold a current drivers licence
