Our software solutions are used by consumers, industry and utilities, and capture data from water meters along with sensors in the environment.

**Essential Requirements**:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any relevant degree, or at least five years of relevant experience related to software support / software analysis.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Conduct periodic software audits to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current systems and software.
- Draft technical proposals for system enhancements based on audit findings and data analysis.
- Engage in root-cause analysis for recurring system issues and propose long-term solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate and implement proposed modifications to systems.
- Provide first and second-level technical software support to customers and use feedback to propose modifications to the software for better user experience.
- Compose and execute SQL scripts to generate reports from the database systems, and provide solutions to software data delivery issues.
- Design and implement dashboards to visualise and scrutinise devices.
- Generate visual representations and analyses of target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to systems performances.
- Evaluate and display data concerning malfunctioning devices to gather feedback on system functionality.
- Collect specifications for client system improvements and modification requests.
- Validate and implement customer data for System Integration, performing evaluation of how the data integrates with existing systems.
- Analyse system logs and user feedback to identify areas for system improvement.

**Your skills and experience**
- Experience in databases (MySQL or PgSQL or Oracle)
- Knowledge of Automation tools such as Power Automate Power BI (desirable)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to own the issue and strong problem-solving.
- Able to multitask when several critical issues happen simultaneously.
- Experience within an office-based customer service or tech support servicedesk
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills (desirable)
- Ability to travel occasionally within Australia.

**Proposed Salary**: $85,000 to $90,000 + Superannuation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
