**Job Description**:
**Your New Role**

This role will see you leading a team and collaboratively planning delivery for the successful releases of SOE updates into a large scale secure environment. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will work with a team of release and deployment coordinators, situated within a broader tower comprised of teams of Testers, SOE engineers, Application Packagers, MECM engineers and endpoint specialists, to ensure fully tested, stable releases are provided in a controlled fashion.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Driving a team to effectively coordinate releases into production and non-production environments ensuring a consistent, repeatable, improvable and fast process in support of a methodology based on agile work practices
- Oversight of process documentation and release processes ensuring understanding between teams and adhering to security and recoverability requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with Operations, Development and architecture teams, and ability to build relationships with key customer stakeholders
- Provide high quality advice, guidance and support in the release and environment management process for project management and risk and compliance
- Identification of automation opportunities, and capacity to drive efficiency into the teams tasking
- Provide centralised and consistent source of knowledge as to the variety of activities undertaken by the team.
- Design, implement and manage a system of workload allocation within the team, tracking and monitoring various process and providing periodic reporting as to release outcomes

**Qualifications**:
**About You and What You'll Bring**:
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
**Technical**
- Knowledge of ITIL V4
- Experience with ServiceNow preferred
- Experience in an IT Service Management environment with multiple vendors
- Preferred understanding of ITIL Processes and how Release Management integrates with the other ITIL Processes

**Personal**
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify solutions
- Strong presentation, engagement & communication skills (written & verbal)
- Inquisitive attitude, willing to ask if there is a better way of operating
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes
- NV2 security clearance
