In this job, you'll handle hands-on marketing and communications role for the development and delivery of school communications and marketing activities and promote the school to target audiences.

You'll also take care of printed material and publications, web and social media and digital newsletters and EDMs.

You'll take responsibility for ensuring that the website and social media sites are maintained and up to date. You'll make a positive contribution to the Community Relations team where your work will make a real difference to the school community and the broader public.

**Deliverables**:

- Produce high quality communication and marketing materials which are accurate, professional and produced within specified timelines
- Generate compelling digital content, including written, image and video formats
- Create and deliver an integrated content plan which effectively and efficiently maximises the use and impact of content
- Manage, optimise and regularly publish on the School's social media platforms and various websites
- Manage and provide operational expertise in relation to other digital communication activities such as our edm program
- Develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with our advertising agency
- Contribute to digital projects such as the development of new websites and apps
- Review web content to ensure links/messages are regularly updated and content is relevant, up to date and accurate.
- Develop a social media strategy with key stakeholders and agencies.
- Generate wide community links and fundraising leads through a broad range of social media platforms within pre-determined deadlines.
- Manage web and social media updates in conjunction with the Head of Communications and Marketing and other content providers.
- Manage responses in a timely manner to comments and feedback received via the website and social media.
- Work closely with multimedia/suppliers to develop high quality, student led videos for marketing purposes.
- Develop quarterly web, digital and social media reports to track statistics for visitors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with printers for quotes and quality control of all printed material
- Capture photographs and video content at all key events (including after hours events) for social media promotion. Management, storage and distribution of all photography and videos.
- Support in delivering key marketing campaigns and developing and delivering annual advertising plans.
- Assist in research and background information for relevant groups and target audiences to inform the marketing activities.
- Provide assistance with special projects as required

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Exceptional writing ability
- Advanced social media skills
- Strong digital communication skills - including adapting communication for a range of audiences
- The ability to complete key annual publications e.g. Yearbook within pre-determined and agreed deadlines
- Excellent organisation, planning and prioritising skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in editing and proofreading
- Experience in publishing software is essential with extensive experience with InDesign, Photoshopand Adobe products
- Technical and production skills including graphic design, photography and basic video editing
- Excellent technical experience in managing websites and social media such as Drupal or WordPress
- Competence with Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, Outlook and internet/web based platforms, as well as an understanding of database management
- Ability to prioritise work and competing demands
- Ability to think and work autonomously and in a team environment
