**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**The primary purpose of the role is **to **support Integrated Gas Contract Owners and major contractors to manage Indigenous businesses contracted directly to Origin and sub-contractor Indigenous participation commitments (IPCs) and Local participation commitments (LPC).**

**More about the role**
- Systematic matching of local Indigenous businesses to contracting and sub-contracting opportunities to enable effective IPC and LPC delivery.
- Facilitate value-adding social responsibility, local buy and Indigenous supplier initiatives.
- Proactive analysis of the Indigenous supply market to understand the capacity and capability of local and Indigenous vendors to identify prospective goods or services that can be delivered to achieve procurement and business outcomes.
- Developing relationships with and supporting businesses to build capability
- Design and provide reporting to demonstrate progress of direct and indirect commitments, recording and tracking all activity for Indigenous and local procurement plans, with a view to creating up to date, meaningful and easily accessible data.

**More about you**
- Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities and strong engagement skills
- Have a desire to learn and adopt new work practices, systems, and procedures
