The Opportunity _
AMP Investment Operations team provide support services to AMP Wealth Management investment managers and clients.
The Fund Regulatory Reporting team (FRR) within AMP Investment Operations mainly looks after 3 processes:
- ASIC RG97 reporting
- APRA asset allocation
- Portfolio Holdings Disclosure
- The primary purpose of this role is to: _
- Perform fund regulatory reporting activities on a timely basis ensuring delivery of accurate and complete information.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the regulations such as RG97 and APRA asset allocations.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of revenue and cost drivers of funds.
- Respond to queries from internal or external clients in relation to fees and fund asset allocation
- Significant reputational impact if there are errors.
- Liaise with Client Services, Global Product, Fund Accounting and Project Team to complete the half yearly RG97 fees and cost deliverables, Portfolio Holdings and and APRA asset allocation deliverables.
- Experience and qualifications required: _
- Demonstrated experience in financial services industry, ideally regulatory reporting in a large corporate environment or with audit background
- CA / C P A qualified preferred
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
- Be creatively restless, autonomous and accountable for driving outcomes
- Knowledge of finance systems/packages with strong excel skills
