We take great pride in being innovative and responsive to the changing needs and challenges of the current market._ **About the role**: The primary focus and responsibilities of this position are: - Provide high quality and accurate administration in relation to various WHS functions - Provide support and assistance as needed to the WHS team Reporting Relationships: The position reports to the: - WHS Manager - Regarding day to day operational requirements, overall performance, conduct and delivery of outcomes The incumbent will need to ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered within the timelines specified. The person must be comfortable with: - A fast-paced environment; - Building lasting relationships that can be relied on to help bolster our reputation; - Working and liaising with people from a diverse range of multicultural backgrounds; - Working and liaising with various levels of stakeholders within the business. **Key Responsibilities**: **WHS projects and Administration** - Maintenance of system administration: - Solv Safety - Store Development - Microsoft Teams / Lists - Smart Draw - Provide system support to users - Maintain the WHS _myw_eb site including the preparation, quality control and upload of all WHS bulletins, information packs and other related items - Establish, monitor and maintain a register of all safety related notices and signs, first aid rooms, emergency management items at head office, and update as needed - Update and create documents and maintain a current document register with version control - Coordinate and prepare training programs and materials - Provide support to the wider WHS and WorkCover teams as required on safety projects - As and when required arrange for distribution/mailing of WHS related materials **Incident and Injury Reporting** - Follow up on all incident reports. Ensure stores comply with incident reviews, investigations and relevant actions - Review and report to the WHS Manager and wider safety team on Solv Safety alerts and outstanding actions and follow up as required - Review and report on Solv Safety to the WHS Manager - Pull reports from the systems as required - As and when required, assist the WHS team with the collection of footage, photos and general information relating to incidents and hazards **Qualifications and Experience**: - **Either** Tertiary qualified in WHS or related field OR experience in a previous WHS role - Return to Work/HR or similar type of administrative role experience desirable - An interest in WHS and WorkCover is desirable - Experience interacting with various levels of business stakeholders - Strong knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite and general PC use - Confident user of technology and online systems **Personal Attributes**: - Must be a team player, self-motivated, persistent, tactful, and persuasive - Skills in handling multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously - Service minded attitude, proactive in resolving issues or identifying areas of improvement - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Excellent attention to detail - A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results - A good lateral thinker - Ability to adapt to changing environment **What you should know**: Aside from the usual things you should expect from any organisation, we also offer our team the following: - Discounts across all our brands.
