URGENT-We are looking for an experienced Support Worker in Altona to assist with Male participant with complex mental health and complex behaviors,

Applicants are preferred to have the following:

- Complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) at a TAFE or registered training Organisation.
- Australian Citizenship/Passport/Birth Certificate OR Passport/VISA
- WWCC
- National Police Check
- Driver’s License
- Car registration & insurance
- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Module
- NDIS Screening Card
- 2 x proof of identification
- **Tasks and duties**_
- Helping with household tasks
- Providing personal care support
- Helping clients learn new skills.
- Supporting clients to start employment
- Doing grocery shopping and preparing meals.
- Working with doctors and therapists to ensure support
- Demonstrating and supporting new life skills, such as budgeting
- Adjusting and adapting communication and body language to suit client need
- Supporting clients to develop new hobbies and interests
- Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments

**Job Type**: Casual with full time hours

**Salary**: $34-$40 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
