Part-time Customer Service Officer

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Customer Service Officer to join our team at Singleton Council. In this role, you’ll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for Singleton to grow and flourish.

**The role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to engage with and meet the requirements of customers and tourists both from Council’s Administration Centre and our Visitor Information Centre.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Demonstrated ability to deliver a positive customer experience with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail.
- A passion for delivering projects and programs to enhance visitor / tourism experiences throughout Singleton.
- Be an integral part of our dynamic Customer Service Team and contribute to relationship building with local tourism operators and community members.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills and an ability to work well under pressure.

Previous experience in Local Government or a relevant qualification in customer service or a related field would be an advantage.

This position is offered on a temporary basis for a period of 2 years working 22.5 hours per week on Monday to Wednesday.

Remuneration for the position is based on Grade 7 of the salary system which equates to a base salary between $38,013 to $42,760 based on the hours of work plus superannuation.
