**About the role**:
We are currently looking to speak to Sustainability & Environment Manager's to join our rail and transport business unit and work in the pre contracts team to assist in the successful outcome of major tenders/ bids.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Coordinate and provide day to day specialist sustainability & environmental support to internal stakeholders, including Group and project Environment teams.
- Identification and effective management of sustainability & environmental risks
- Establish, monitor and report on key sustainability & environmental performance objectives and standards for managing project sustainability & environmental risks on major bids/ projects
- Support the tender review process and provide technical input to EOI, RFPs and tenders, demonstrating a strong understanding of sustainability & environmental goals, rating schemes and other related stakeholder requirements.
- Represent and advocate sustainable and environmental outcomes within the industry on behalf of the Rail & Transport team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company environmental requirements, ensuring management and staff are kept informed of any relevant changes to project requirements

**What we are looking for**:
**You will have**:

- Bachelor of Engineering, Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability or other associated disciplines
- Construction sustainability management
- Understanding of sustainability rating schemes and standards
- Knowledge of environmental statues and legislation
- Knowledge of tender requirements, project planning, development, implementation and review.
- Ability to lead high level investigations involving multiple internal and external parties.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative environmental risk assessment and development of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills (both external and internal)
