**Position Information**:
Located in the Mooney Mooney Network, Mount Colah Public School is a dynamic K-6 school established in 1953. The school is situated in a bushland setting, north of Hornsby. Mount Colah Public School currently has 450 students. The NESB background of the school community is 8%. The Family Occupation and Education Index (FOIE) is 33. Trained and dedicated teachers deliver quality teaching programs in a caring and supportive environment.

3.Demonstrated capacity to work successfully within a leadership team, balancing exemplary teaching with the demands and complexities of a leadership role, and experience in leading professional learning initiatives to support the implementation of the school’s Strategic Improvement Plan.
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
