Dental Assistant/receptionist

Position available for Full Time Clinical Dental Assistant/Receptionist
- Monday to Thursday, No after hours and No weekends

Our Practice

Brisbane Prosthodontics is located in a small shopping centre within the leafy residential suburb of Graceville in Brisbane's Inner West. Our practice is equipped with the latest digital equipment, and has an excellent reputation and referral base for implant, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. There is plenty of local parking.

The Position

Duties

The main duties of this position will be centered on patient management. This would include:

- Provision of clinical chairside assistance to one of our Specialist Prosthodontists.
- Entry of patient charting and records into Exact Dental Software.
- Maintain materials and stock in the surgery.
- Maintenance of the practice equipment, by either servicing user-serviceable components, or liaising with repair personnel.
- Performance of thorough and correct sterilising and disinfecting procedures.
- Taking instruction from senior staff and taking responsibility for correct completion of these duties.
- Liaise with patients following surgical or other significant appointments to monitor their well being.
- Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time.
- Preparing accounts and receiving patient payments.
- Scheduling treatment and individual appointments appropriate to the treatment sequence.
- Taking and manipulating digital photographs (before and after) of cases and incorporating these into letters to referring dentists.

**Qualifications**:

- The successful applicant should have a solid work ethic, a warm and friendly manner, confidence, initiative and a positive and enthusiastic approach to their duties.
- Dental experience is a must with a minimum of Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting.
- Certificate 4 (Radiography) is an advantage
- Proficiency with the dental management program Exact as well as Microsoft Word.
- Own transport is essential.

The position is for 4 days full time with hours between 8am - 6.00pm. Salary package is negotiable depending on the experience.

**Salary**: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
