Dental Receptionist

Westside Dentistry is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a permanent full-time basis and hit the ground running in our busy practice.

Responsibilities and duties:

- Front-desk responsibilities, including greeting new and returning patients.
- Stock management, ordering, and communication with industry representatives.
- Cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation of instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Receiving and making phone calls, as well as handling correspondence.
- Administrative tasks such as appointment book management, HICAPS/DVA/CDBS claim processing, electronic payments, and treatment plan management.

Experience and qualifications:

- Prior front-desk and administrative experience.
- Knowledge of practice management software such as D4W, Microsoft Office, and diagnostic imaging software is preferred (PACS).
- It is advantageous to be familiar with high-end dental equipment and materials.
- Outstanding personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Effective communication skills with patients and coworkers.
- Ability to assist with general dental procedures (diagnostic services, restorative & preventative treatments, prosthodontics, endodontics, etc.)
- Excellent time management and self-motivation.
