**The Role**

As our
**Trades Assistant** you will support the maintenance team through assisting in maintaining, fixing and altering various machinery within our Re.Cycle Depot. The tasks range from conveyer belts, through to welding what's required. We heavily rely on our Maintenance Team to ensure each shift operates without obstacles.

This role will see you play a key part in ensuring the success and safety of our staff and operations, to maintain a seamless and efficient work environment. There will be ample opportunity for career development as you gain exposure and grow in confidence, within the engineering and manufacturing industry. The shifts will rotate between 10.30am to 6.30pm & 2pm to 10pm - giving you a work/life balance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct preventative maintenance for onsite machinery
- General onsite maintenance work
- Mechanical service and repairs of equipment
- Ensure production operates smoothly
- Be available to work rotating shifts i.e. Day & Afternoon shifts
- Be available for 24-hour support if needed
- Able to work weekends when required

**About You**
- Previous experience & knowledge working with Hands/Power tools - essential
- Have an understanding of industrial/manufacturing/maintenance environments needs
- Are aware of Health & Safety compliance
- You have a ‘Safety First’ and ‘Preventative’ approach
- Can-do attitude, team-player, and dependable
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and/or public holidays - if required
