**ABOUT THE ROLE**
TAFE NSW is seeking an Education Support Officer to work in the Manufacturing teaching section based at Granville Campus. The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports delivery via online and face-to-face. In the role, you will work closely to support teachers to ensure the appropriate course content and assessments are successfully delivered. However, you will not be required to hold a teaching qualification and are not required to teach or prepare lessons.
The role will require you to build engagement with learners to find ways to adapt training and support services so that they are accessible and relevant to learners. Under the guidance of a Head Teacher, you will mentor and guide students through to course completion.
The Manufacturing teaching section pride themselves on delivering exceptional learning experiences by focusing on using responsive collaborative delivery models. The role requires the Education Support Officer to ensure that the teachers are supported to use these varied delivery methods to provide more skills to learners across NSW.
This position is permanent full-time with a salary package of $82,654.54 per annum. For full details about the position please review the?Position Description and Information Pack.
**ABOUT YOU**
It is crucially important that you have strong computer skills, especially with SharePoint document libraries, MS Teams and Learner Management Systems to assist the teachers and students with training delivered via the training platforms and assist by tracking the successful completion of the cohort of students.
If you are a flexible team player and enjoy taking initiative, then this is the right role for you. Equally important to the role is your ability to effectively come together and work collaboratively within your team to build up the teaching team's capability.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a vocational qualification in the manufacturing industry/related field
- Have a minimum of three (3) years relevant manufacturing industry experience.
- Have the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
