VEND Marketplace is now in South Brisbane VEND Marketplace has been an established brand for 4 and a half years at our original location in Virginia, and has now expanded to our second location. It is a shared retail space for small businesses of Brisbane and surrounds.

**About the role**

This is a casual retail assistant position where the role includes but is not limited to:

- Cash handling
- Customer service including providing assistance and advice to customers
- Tidying vendor's stores and general venue maintenance
- Being part of a fun and positive work environment

**Skills and experience**

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following attributes:

- excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Thrive on working in a team environment
- Attention to detail and highly motivated
- Excellent customer service skills
- Retail experience preferred but not essential.

Weekend availability essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $21.52 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ANNERLEY, QLD 4103: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
