Halcyon Dental Group specialises in providing removable prosthodontic treatment to our patients through our reputable Denture Clinics at our 3 locations across Sydney: including Pitt St Sydney CBD, Petersham, and St Marys.

Our Pitt St Sydney City clinic has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, bright, and professional Receptionist to join our organisation.

Based on front desk reception you will create the first friendly impression and be the point of contact for patients, visitors and suppliers to the clinic. Your sunny personality will be warm and welcoming as you make a memorable impact to patients on both the phone and face-to-face ensuring they are at ease.

You will be responsible for the key areas of:

- Meeting and greeting patients, and visitors face to face and over the phone.
- Confirming and scheduling appointments in a prompt and timely manner.
- Looking after the reception and waiting room maintenance always ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
- Taking responsibility for the Practices patient recall system.
- Process referral letters and other correspondence within 24 hours of receipt.
- Setting up of the clinic pre/post patient visit.
- Ordering supplies when necessary and assisting with operational duties when required.
- Invoicing treatment plans and accepting payments.

The ideal person will possess:

- Previous experience in working in a Dental or Allied Health practice as a receptionist; experience with D4W will be looked upon favourably.
- Exceptional customer service focus with a warm and friendly manner.
- A strong teamwork focus with a high care factor for patients and peers’ wellbeing.
- Good attention to detail with the billing and recording keeping.
- Good IT systems knowledge
- Immaculate presentation, exceptional phone manner and a natural relationship builder.

**Job Type**: Part-time / casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 - 36hours per week

**Experience**:
Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Australian Work Authorisation needed. Mostly looking for someone to work long term with us.
