**Eden Garden Fresh Market** is a thriving continental supermarket located in Mernda, VIC. We specialise in fresh fruit and vegetables, Mediterranean and European grocery items, and serve a growing local community with quality products and outstanding service. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced **Shop Manager** to join and lead our team. Salary on offer is $70,000-$80,000 plus super based on experience**.**

**Role Overview**

We’re seeking a motivated **Shop Manager** with proven experience in retail, especially in fresh produce and grocery operations. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staff supervision, inventory control, and ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage daily supermarket operations
- Lead, train, and supervise staff
- Manage stock levels, orders, and supplier relations
- Ensure product quality, particularly fresh produce
- Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards
- Prepare rosters and assist with payroll reporting
- Ensure compliance with food safety and OH&S regulations
- Handle customer service issues and drive satisfaction
- Assist with sales reporting and budgeting
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience
- Strong knowledge of fruit, vegetables, and grocery products
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS and inventory systems
- Experience in a continental/ethnic supermarket is a plus
