ESS is the market leading support services division of Compass Group, and Delta FM provide our facilities management services. We are currently seeking experienced Grounds and Maintenance Personnel to join our remote team based near Miles/Chinchilla region in the Surat Basin.

The roster is 14 days on 7 days off - 10 hour days.

You will be responsible for the pristine upkeep of our grounds at our mining accommodation villages and surrounds,

**The Role**
- Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden including but not limited to: turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the grounds.
- Provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as required
- Chemical handling experience (desirable)
- Industrial cleaning experience where required
- Operate and maintain equipment and machinery
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required

**The Person**
- General maintenance experience/trades or labouring background (desirable)
- Competent in operating general maintenance/grounds equipment and chemical handling
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Valid and current drivers licence
- Physically fit
- Motivated, high attention to detail and reliable
- Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test
- Must be double vaccinated
- Forklift ticket (desirable)
- ACDC Weed spraying certificate (desirable)
