One of Australia\'s leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Technical Writer **to write help documentation and system help features to assist business users. The role can be based in **Canberra as well as offsite **with the** **successful **Technical Writer **to be offered a **12-month contract partnered with a 2 X 12-month extension options.**

The successful** Technical Writer **will be responsible for the below:

- Writing and reviewing ICT system design documents
- Assisting technical teams to document system features and designs to ensure quality documentation of ICT systems
- Contributing to the documentation of features as part of the Agile Release Train
- Working with enterprise product and design teams to design Help that’s clear that solves real customer problems

The successful **Technical Writer **will have experience in the following:

- Experience creating online software documentation
- High level of proficiency with Atlassian suite of products (Confluence and Jira)
- Ability to explain complex concepts
- Ability to write explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
