**About the role**:
3 x Roles (Timely Emergency Care Collaborative, System Wide Reform Team and Programs Team)
The Policy Adviser works within a team supporting the Manager, Timely Emergency Care Collaborative / Programs/ System-wide Reform team to support the delivery of a range of programs that promote timely access to emergency care.The Policy Adviser will be required to prepare, within tight timeframes, high quality briefings, discussion papers, presentations, and other documentation related to key policy initiatives and projects that relate to timely emergency care. The position will also contribute to the strategic coordination of corporate, project management and budget reporting (and other ad hoc reporting as required) across the team.

**How you'll make a difference**:
You will be a high performing team member with sound policy development and systems thinking skills; complemented by strong communication - written and verbal, problem solving, and project management capabilities. You will also have experience in monitoring program budgets, analysis and presentation of data, and ability to work flexibly to respond to a range of emerging issues and evolving priorities.

**Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate**:

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of multi-level stakeholder engagement strategies, processes and projects to support the effective implementation of reforms.
- Adhere to quality control mechanisms to ensure completeness and accuracy of presentation and delivery of information and events.
- Under direction, undertake and contribute to complex projects and contribute to the preparation of briefs, submissions, correspondence and reports on a range of sensitive issues
- Assess and provide information and advice on compliance with the work area's processes and guidelines.
- Display team work and contribute to the work of the team as required and make a professional and ongoing contribution to continuous improvement of processes and performance
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
