**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Leading Hand (Feeding) you will be responsible for providing hands on direction and day to day supervision to the Feeding team. This will include providing on the job training and feedback, ensuring all operations are performed safely in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and resolving operational matters that are escalated from team members. You will Contribute to the successful running of the feeding team in following activities:

- Developing all mixed rations on site and ensuring all rations are nutritionally balanced to ensure optimal dietary requirements are met.
- Ensuring feed rations are dispersed throughout the feedlot in a timely manner
- Feed batching and delivery, vehicle and loader operations in a feedlot / feed mill setting

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in feed production, and plant operation.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision and exercise autonomy
- Demonstrated high level of communication, both written, verbal and two way to achieve effective workplace outcomes.
- Ability to influence, coach, persuade and negotiate to achieve effective outcomes with the team, key stakeholders and senior employees.
