We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the Project Energy Connect team In this role you will effectively be responsible for ensuring effective materials management across all projects by Identifying and managing continuous improvement within SCM systems and processes and manages implementation of materials management systems and processes.

The positions will be a full-time permanent position based in our Sydney office.

- SecureEnergy, a Clough Elecnor Joint Venture, has been selected to deliver the engineering, procurement, and construction of Project EnergyConnect. EnergyConnect is a new 700 km 330 kV transmission line running from Wagga Wagga in NSW to Robertstown in SA._
- The project scope also includes the construction of supporting infrastructure, such as substations and access roads along the route of the transmission line. When built, EnergyConnect will enable future renewable energy projects to connect to the electricity grid_

Your focus will include:
- SCM focal point for all SCM process on assigned medium to large projects- Establishes SCM set up and agree the Procurement strategies of purchasing packages for the Project in conjunction with Project Management Team, including identification of critical and long lead equipment / materials and level of Expediting including any Field Expediting requirements.- Carries out necessary sourcing research to determine which materials / equipment may be available locally, nationally and those required to be purchased from international Suppliers.- Identifies any applicable tariff concessions for items being procured directly from countries where no Free Trade Agreement is in place and establishes any additional costs for applicable import duties.- Establishes and maintains the project Supply Chain Management Plan- Providing management level SCM support on an assigned project or allocated area of functionality

What you will bring to the team:
- Extensive experience in a similar role- Demonstrated experience with bespoke materials management systems- Exposure to multiple EPC projects environment- Demonstrated understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate same
