**Position Information**:
Drummoyne Public School is a kindergarten to year 6 inner west primary school with 520 students and 22 classes including 52 percent of students from language backgrounds other than English.

Our school enjoys a cohesive mix of experienced and early career teachers who work collaboratively in grade and stage teams to implement high quality, differentiated teaching and learning based on data driven practice. This is achieved through a high impact professional learning program based on school and system priorities, student performance data and staff identified need.

**Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary with the capacity to effectively manage the dual role of assistant principal and exemplary classroom teacher.

Proven ability to analyse and use a range of data to build the capacity of individuals and teams, to improve student outcomes in literacy and numeracy aligning with the School Improvement Plan.

Highly developed communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills with the capacity to lead, mentor and inspire innovation and change while maintaining positive and inclusive relationships with students, staff and families.

Ability to work cohesively as part of an engaged and proactive leadership team, with the capacity to analyse and evaluate the school's progress towards excellence.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4.
