As our **Parcel Sorter/Van Driver** you'll play a crucial and pivotal role in our operations at a Mail & Parcel Processing Centre, you'll be responsible for operating pallet jacks and when necessary, delivering in our vans.

You might not be working from home, but you’ll be working together with a friendly team of like-minded people and your community relies on you and it doesn’t get better than that.

**You’ll be**:

- Assembling, dissembling and stacking ULDs (Unit Load Devices) for parcel sorting and distribution
- Safely and efficiently operate an electric pallet jack to move parcels within the facility
- Assisting in unloading delivery vans
- Inducting parcels manually into the sorting system when required ensuring accurate placement and processing
- Required to safely perform and operate a van to perform duties such as picking up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres
- Required to pick up mail and parcel items from our customers
- Unload mail articles from vans and manually sorting them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Paired up with our experienced senior drivers, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development
- Shift : Monday to Friday 1:15pm - 6:15pm

**About you**
- You hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence
- You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment
- You are flexible with working additional hours if required
- You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
