The Position
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting the business with the day-to-day management of the Calendar Cheese Warehouse, production operations, inwards goods, transport, distribution and customer order fulfilment. This role will also incorporate all Quality Assurance responsibilities within the facility, including any QA related processes and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Warehouse: Manage the day to day running of the facility, as well as efficient and effective picking and packing processes. Ensure all employees are operating from written procedures with appropriate training provided, maintain and monitor all MHE and ensure appropriate vehicles are available. Manage team to ensure adherence to all relevant governing bodies and QA requirements,
- Quality: Assist in the site’s food safety processes and compliance to VQM manual and external certifications. Manage and support the National QA Manager during external audits. Monitor and review of documentation completion
- Transport: Ensure drivers operate according to written procedures with appropriate training provided. Manage 3PL’s to ensure best cost, efficient service and adherence to all Customer requirements. Ensure all orders are ready for dispatch to meet customers’ expectations.
- General: Manage all warehouse staff, including drivers, and ensure accountability, and manage labour and profit and loss reports in line with budgets for labour and expenses. Implement, monitor, and publish Operational KPI's for the Bayswater warehouse. Promote a safe working environment through the company's WH&S policies and procedures
Skills & Experiences
Proven experience in a similar role
Logistics Diploma or similar or equivalent experience
Understanding of basic accounting principles and P&L reporting
Experience working with Quality Assurance procedures specifically related to food products.
Experience working in a FMCG or 3PL warehouse.
Microsoft Office 365 suite with intermediate Word & Excel skills
Experience using ERP and MRP systems (preferably M3)
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Effective communication and people management skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
