Located in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs, the Epworth Clinic - Epworth Camberwell’s mental health service, is dedicated to achieving optimum mental health outcomes for patients. The clinic provides inpatient and day patient programs for adults with specific areas of focus including acute stress reaction, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar affective disorder types one and two, anxiety disorder, eating disorder and borderline personality disorder.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Mental Health - Allied Health Assistant, to join our interdisciplinary Therapy Team at Epworth Clinic, on a casual basis. This role will be to provide group intervention and therapy to patients on our acute inpatient unit who are experiencing mental ill-health. Typically, the role will involve regular weekend shifts (4 hours) and occasional weekday shifts (full day).
This role exposes you to specialist therapeutic care in the private mental health sector, as well as providing the opportunity to contribute to cutting edge service provision at Epworth Clinic. This role is perfect for someone in the early stages of their career or wanting to gain broader experience with recovery and intervention in an inpatient and day program setting.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds at different stages of recovery from mental health challenges
- Be familiar with and experienced in the delivery of ACT and CBT based therapeutic interventions
- Confidence in autonomous group facilitation in an acute mental health inpatient setting
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team setting with patients and families
